Flower Faerie Facts |
|
Ð Flower faeries have been acknowledged since ancient times for keeping the human race connected with nature. Ð Cicely Mary Barker, an English author and illustrator, created her own brand of flower faeries and subsequently developed the preponderance of faerie information circulating to date. Her first book on the topic, Flower Faeries of the Spring, was published in 1923. Ð Historically, it has been assumed that flower faeries dress only in the blooms, grasses, seeds, and leaves of the flowers they tend. Ð Faeries of all varieties are notoriously vain, constantly checking their reflections in mirrors, lakes, ponds, and gazing balls. |
